G.C. Hatton Lancaster antique open face pocket watch. Approx. 1845. Silver 925, Case with London city hallmark, hallmark 'k' for 1845, maker's mark 'RS'. Full plate chain/fusee movement, key set/wound, steel balance with blued hairsoring, diamond endstone and hand engraved balance cock, working, service needed. Dial with guilloche and engraving made from silver, roman numerals, blued hands (later replacement). Visible signs of wear on case and dial. Matching key enclosed. Diameter approx. 50mm owithout crown.
